S.O.S is an ALL-DENOMINATIONAL Ministry!

An "All-Denominational" Ministry simply means we acknowledge and believe that our God is bigger than our labels. We acknowledge the Church's History and how it has evolved denominationally. Denomination doesn't dictate faith, and instead of  segregating based off a certain denomination we celebrate the many denominations that make up this community of FAITHFUL REFEREES/UMPIRES who are SURRENDERED TO JESUS as LORD and SAVIOR! A body united is a body more effective and prepared to impact at any second.

GOD

There is one God, who is “the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End” (Revelation 22:13). “God created the heavens and the earth,” (Genesis 1:1) things “visible and invisible…all things have been created through him and for him” (Colossians 1:16). The God of the universe is, “the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin” (Exodus 34:6-7). “His faithfulness continues through all generations; You establish the earth and it endures” (Psalm 119:90). Our God is unrivaled and incomparable, as it says, “I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God” (Isaiah 45:5).

JESUS

Jesus is the Son of God as scripture says, “Therefore, the Lord himself will give you a sign: the Virgin will conceive and give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel” (Isaiah 7:14), meaning “God with us” (Matthew 1:23). “The Son is the image of the invisible God” (Colossians 1:15), whom “committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth” (1 Peter 2:22). God the Father was, “pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him” (Colossians 1:19). Jesus is, “the way and the truth and the life,” for He says, “No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). Jesus was the fulfillment of prophecies that stated, “he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life” (Matthew 16:21). “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit” (1 Peter 3:18).

HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit has dwealt since the beginning of time with the Father and the Son, “hovering over the waters” (Genesis 1:2). “The Advocate, the Holy Spirit,” was sent to, “teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you,” declares the Lord (John 14:26). Before Jesus was taken back up to be with the Father, he said, “It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you” (John 16:7) and again, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit” (John 3:5-6). Jesus said, “But you will receive the power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in Judea, and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8)

THE BIBLE

The Bible is the ULTIMATE LOVE STORY! One of the most powerful tools in a Jesus' Follower's Life, it is "alive and active; It is sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12). Written by man, apostles and prophets unified by God alone to tell the story pointing to Jesus. We seek to be Doers of the Word not merely listeners for Jesus says, “blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it” (Luke 11:28). The Bible is extremely Sacred and Holy, for it is written, “Heaven and earth will pass away but my words will never pass away” (Matthew 24:35).

SALVATION

Salvation is the deliverance of the power and penalty of sin found through Jesus Christ as, “God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). This great “grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people” (Titus 2:11). Salvation is “not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works,” (Ephesians 2:8) and it was “because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive in Christ” (Ephesians 2:4). So, “if you declare with your mouth “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).

THE CHURCH

The fellowship of believers are, “the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” And, “For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others” (Romans 12:4-5). As Christ followers, “speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ…as each part does its work” (Ephesians 4:15-16). The church must  seek unity in Christ, “not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another- and all the more as you see the Day approaching” (Hebrews 10:24-25).
